Zero-Carbon Community Demonstration Project – Zevenaar Solar Town Project (4.2 kW)
- By: Cailin
- Apr 07 2024
Location: Netherlands
Year: 2016
Total Installation Capacity: 4.2 kW
Installed Roofing Type: Cailin Solar T-max Tile_O
Design Features:
Cailin Solar tiles, as a green building material for the roof, exhibit no color difference from traditional tiles, providing a uniform and consistent interior and exterior texture. This ensures that the entire roof maintains the architectural style of traditional tiles, guaranteeing consistency in height from the front to the back of the roof and enhancing the visual aesthetics of the house. Simultaneously, the high-performance energy system and maximum utilization of renewable energy systems substantially reduce fossil fuel consumption.
Project Overview:
Zevenaar, a town in the Gelderland province of the Netherlands, situated at the border between Germany and the Netherlands. In 2016, residents in this town had a batch of Solar tiles, installed on their roofs from Cailin. The exterior structure of these Cailin Solar Tile brought about unprecedented, revolutionary changes, featuring a dark blue design contrasting vividly with red brick walls, meeting high power generation demands. The color of these tiles closely matches that of crystalline solar cells, providing a consistent and uniform appearance. With special adjustments in production processes, the crystalline silicon solar cells achieve perfect concealment, ensuring no color difference or inconsistency with the original roof material. The combination of photovoltaic components and metal backplates creates a modern, technological appearance, maintaining the architectural style of traditional tiles while enhancing the visual aesthetics of the entire structure. Due to its
innovative features, Cailin Solar Tile received positive feedback from homeowners in the Netherlands.
